A school bus and car were involved in a head-on crash in Nassau County on Wednesday afternoon.

Six children and one adult were onboard the bus at the time of the collision, fire officials say.

The incident happened around 4 p.m. on Old Country Road in Plainview.

The bus had been traveling westbound before the crash, while the car was going eastbound.

Everyone refused medical attention, said Andrew Cohen, Chief of the Plainview Fire Department.

All of the children were picked up by their parents at the scene.
