Three brothers, including two of the nation's most prominent luxury real estate brokers, have been sentenced to 30 years in prison for a sex trafficking scheme that spanned more than a decade and included crimes committed in the Hamptons.
Twins Oren and Alon Alexander, along with their brother Tal Alexander, were convicted of multiple federal sex trafficking offenses following a six-week trial in March.
Federal prosecutors said the brothers worked together from at least 2008 through 2021 to recruit, drug, sexually assault and rape numerous women and underage girls. Authorities say the trio used their wealth, status and access to exclusive luxury events to lure victims into situations and violently assault them.
In some instances, the assaults involved multiple men, including one or more of the Alexander brothers.
Prosecutors say they'd physically restrain victims, ignore their pleas to stop and also secretly drug their drinks with sedative-hypnotic substances.
More than 60 women accused the brothers of sexual misconduct, and 11 women testified during the trial.
