As Colombia continues to recover from a devastating 7.4-magnitude earthquake that killed at least 111 people and damaged or destroyed buildings across the country, members of Long Island’s Colombian community are coming together in prayer.

Dozens met at Red Creek Park in Hampton Bays to pray for Colombia.

Organizers asked people to wear white or a Colombia shirt. They were also asked to bring a candle as they prayed for the victims, their families and communities affected by the earthquake.
